Did you know Florida does not require phlebotomists to be certified or licensed?

This Phlebotomy course offers an opportunity for individuals already trained in healthcare professions to expand the scope of their careers.

This course is designed to review the national certification requirements and includes a  review of the theory, hands-on instruction, and the collection of blood specimens.

Our instructor-led seven-week Phlebotomy Course prepares participants to work in the following medical facility:

Hospitals
Research Institutions

Medical Centers

Doctor's Office

Diagnostic Laboratories

Nursing Homes

Pre-requisites: Each student must be 18 years or older and have liability insurance before starting the class.

We do not and cannot guarantee job placement.

Brevard Nursing Academy is a testing site for the National Medical Career Assessment Certification (MedCA).
